The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
With a STEAM education, students advance through experiential learning and thoughtful risks. STEAM encourages today’s thinkers with a blend of science, technology, engineering, mathematics and the arts. Students develop lifelong creativity and critical thinking useful for any future pursuit.
Programs for Every Passion
DCC provides a variety of experiences to prepare students for their life chapter. Future healthcare workers can opt for EMT studies, while Teacher Cadets supports tomorrow’s educators. Students ready to get hands on may choose construction or auto service technology. New courses are added each year.
DCC's programs are as unique and diverse as our students. For example, the Peer Program teams students with peers with disabilities to support teachers with academic and physical education. Students build respect, collaboration and communication skills through problem solving and decision making.
